The Priaulx Library is delighted to be launching a brand new website at www.priaulxlibrary.co.uk

Designed by Small Ltd. it contains plenty of information about our family history research service, for all your Channel Island genealogy needs.  The website also combines images of the library with news, events and services, as well as an online shop where prints and photographs can be purchased.

Family History at the Priaulx Library

Track down your relatives in Guernsey using our rich collection of records: census details, parish records, newspapers and directories are available for the general public. Our staff have many years of experience in family history research and are delighted to help visitors in tracing their family trees. They will also undertake research on behalf of clients all over the world for a reasonable hourly fee.

Priaulx Library maps given the Royal seal of approval

Prince Charles had an opportunity to view a selection of maps from the Guernsey on the Map exhibition when he visited the Guernsey Museum as part of the 1204 anniversary celebrations. The purpose of the visit was the viewing of the Royal Charters, but a display of maps carried over from the library that morning greeted him as he came through the door.
